KEYMARK
It is a mark issued by empowered Certification bodies and the Institute for Testing and Certification is the holder of this empowerment as the KEYMARK Certification Body No. 032 and is a member of TIAQ (= Thermal Insulation Association for Quality).
Within the current scope of the KEYMARK Certification body there are thermal insulation products intended for building insulation - factory made mineral wool (MW) products according to the harmonized standard EN 13162 (MW).
The manufacturer is entitled to use KEYMARK after signing a contract between the manufacturer and empowered Certification body and only for products for which the conformity has been demonstrated.
Sampling for initial testing shall be performed by a representative of the Certification body, usually during the initial inspection, in the presence of the manufacturer's representative. When taking samples, it is necessary to fill in a sampling record. The initial tests shall be performed in accordance with the rules described in Article 7.5 of the KEYMARK scheme.
All test results for each tested characteristic shall be better than or equal to the value declared in the Declaration of Performance.
After performing of an initial inspection in the factory and performing of initial testing, the empowered Certification body issues a KEYMARK certificate. The KEYMARK certificate is valid for 2 years from the date of issue and can be subsequently traced in the certificate database on the website https://keymark.eu/en/.
Companies shall maintain certification by constantly meeting the requirements of the KEYMARK scheme. After the certification is granted, a continuous surveillance is performed twice a year in accordance with Cl. 7.6.1 of the KEYMARK scheme.
KEYMARK scheme imposes mandatory testing ("AUDIT TESTING") once a year for products taken by a representative of the Certification Body.
